Children are such a precious gift, and as a mom myself, I know firsthand how quickly childhood passes. Their little personalities, expressions, laughter, curiosity, and even their silly moments change before we realize it.

I treasure the photographs I've taken of my own children because they take me back to seasons of their childhood that I can never experience in quite the same way again. A photograph has an incredible ability to bring back not only what your child looked like, but also how that season felt.

As a Navarre children's photographer, that's what I want to create for other families, beautiful photographs that capture your child as they are right now.

Every child has a personality of their own, and I don't believe children's photography should try to hide that.

Some children are outgoing and ready for the camera immediately. Others are shy and need a little time. Some want to sit and smile, while others would much rather run, explore, laugh, and play.

That's okay.

With more than a decade of photography experience, I know that some of the most meaningful children's portraits happen when we allow kids to relax and simply be themselves.

I'll guide your child when needed while also watching for the natural expressions, laughter, curiosity, and little in-between moments that make them uniquely yours.

One of the biggest concerns parents have before children's pictures is whether their child will cooperate.

We'll create some beautifully posed portraits, but we'll also make room for movement, laughter, play, and personality.
